Pat We are an upstate NY yacht club located about 14 miles South of Albany on the Hudson River. Our club (Tri-City Yacht Club) was founded in 1932. We are a small club comprised of 20 docking members, with boats ranging from 25' to 39'. While we all love cruising the many destinations and attractions available along the Hudson, we have navigable water access to virtually any destination including Lake Champlain to the North, the Great Lakes via the historic Erie Canal to the West, and to NY City to the south. An existing Member (Marlboro Yacht Club) led us to your organization. We look forward to membership and participation in AVYC. Saturday, April 19, 2003 at 05:46:24 |

Ted My wife Relinda and I sail a 37' IrwinCC in and out of Charlotte Harbor, Fl. We have had this boat 3 yrs and no time to get any farther than St. Pete a couple times. Prior boat was a 30' Hunter that we made several trips to the Keys and Tortugas in. We are into cruising rather than racing. We have been sailing for a total of 15 years. Andrew My favorite body of water is the Pacific. I've lived aboard our own boat, delivered boats across the Pacific and up and down the west coast, but have been sailing infrequently for the last 10 years. I'm looking to get back into it. Tuesday, March 04, 2003 at 10:27:32 |

Ed, Rene & Rufus Hi Jim, Well, it finally happened, I sold our boat, the 21 foot Cruisers...(pouting), but we will be boating again in the future. Thinking of a 30 Ft Long Cabin Osprey for our next boat, with dual diesels it has like a 500 mile range at like about 35 knots or maybe closer to 40mph. Anyway, just wanted to bring u, Jim, and the membership up to date regarding our boat! Hope u all had a nice warm winter, living in a motorhome has made me yearn for those summer months out on the boat. Oh, and Jim, stop whining about snow, we got it every other day it seems for the last few weeks and we are only in NJ! I will NEVER bitch about the hot weather again, and u can hold me to that...! Always, ED, Rene & Rufus (woof) March 02, 2003 at 17:16:37 __________________________________________________________ Thanks Ed for the update. |
