Robert I love the Atlantic. I am a 38 year old man who is already retired due to physical disabilities as the result of 5 masjor strokes and three brain surgeries. I used to sail but am unable to now so I have a small jet boat which I go everywhere I can in. I even have a GPS on it so I don't get too lost! Wednesday, June 11, 2003 at 20:08:39 |

SabrinaHi we are Dan and Sabrina from Knoxville, TN. We are the proud owner
of a Sea Ray Sundancer. Having a little bottom work down at the present, but we
will submit pictures soon. Previously, I had a 36ft. Trojan. Woodhull with
mahghony interior and teak decks. She was sold 7 years ago, and we miss her.
But have keep the memories and pictures close to our heart. Sunday, June 08, 2003 at 08:32:36 |

Ian G'day Mates, My f.b's.w. are Corio Bay (at the western end of Port Phillip, Port Phillip and Bass Strait. Port phillip is the large body of water that joins Melbourne with Geelong. Geelong (on Corio Bay) is my home town and my yacht (Dalrymple 2 - a Southerly 23') is moored at the Lagoon Boat Club in an estuary to the north of Corio Bay called Limeburners Lagoon. My favorite water activity is sailing, whether it be making a passage to "anywhere" or a quick dash around a race course. Our official club races vary in distance from about 5 miles to 100 miles. As Editor of our club newsletter I was looking for some material to pad out a couple of short pages and my search came up with your address. A couple of jokes and the newsletter was completed, easier than searching newspapers and magazines for material. I have also passed on your site details to other club members. Look forward to hearing from you. Ian Sunday, June 08, 2003 at 06:02:23 |

Michael Back in 1958 (when I was 28 years old), I purchased a 1955, 21 foot Owens cabin cruiser with a 50 hp Johnson outboard (Soon to be refitted with a 75 hp Johnson. It was much like the boat pictured in this web page, but the hull wasn't planked. I owned that craft The Little Mary)until 1967 and have lived to regret selling it. Those nine sun-filled, water-soaked summers were the best summers of my life. I so miss my "Little Mary" and yet take solace in the memories that she has left for me. She took me over Lake Erie's sometimes glossy, and all too often rampaging, waters with the gutsy gusto of Chris Colombus's Santa Maria. Also once, on a voyage from Buffalo, N.Y. to Cleveland, Ohio, we languished with her in the protective calm of your own beautiful Conneut Harbor. As for my favorite body of water, I will take the mighty Great Lakes for my absolute number one choice. Who needs any more water and wonder that that magnificent handful of oceans provides? God bless you and your wonderful website. P.S. I'd send you a picture of my little Owens but I don't know how. Mike Saturday, May 03, 2003 at 20:19:28 |
