Bob and Julie on "Fran's Finale" their pontoon boat. Obviously a special moment and a great shot.

Member Bob has been an avid boater/skier since he was 12 years old. He, in fact, passed the US Power Squadron Boating Course at age 13 and was allowed to drive their 1974 Ebbtide open bowrider himself (That made him, at that time, the youngest person in NC to pass the test.) They have a cottage at Lake Gaston, NC where they enjoy skiing, sailing and boating. Bob met Julie during the cleanup of a friends house that was damaged during Hurricane Fran that hit the Carolinas. They have been married about a year. The pontoon boat was their wedding gift to each other, hence the boat's name "Fran's Finale.

The "ESCAPADE"

Member "Spicednut" (a moniker he chooses to use as his member name. More on that later) and his restored 27ft Glastron cruiser. Home port is a marina at Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. "Spicednut" comes from his business which is the making and selling of Cinnamon Spiced Nuts!
